Advanced Graduate Student Clinical Training

Farmington Valley Private Practices

In collaboration with two other private practices at 40 Avon Meadow Lane in Avon, CT, Dr. Megan Marsh offers an opportunity for clinical training in neuropsychological assessment for advanced graduate students who are doctoral candidates in Clinical Psychology.  


Under the direct supervision of Dr. Megan Marsh, students are involved in various aspects of the evaluation process and receive training in test administration, scoring, interpretation, as well as case conceptualization and diagnostic consideration.  In this collaborative practicum setting, students also have opportunities for training in outpatient psychotherapy, including individual, family, couples, and group therapy with clients across the lifespan.

Following graduation from Boston College, Tara worked in the counseling center at Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts, working with adolescents and emerging adults around concerns such as navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, academic adjustment, relationship/interpersonal difficulties, gender-identity exploration, family of origin dynamics, trauma, and life stressors. In her free time, Tara loves to exercise, cook, and read. She takes every chance she gets to return home to the Adirondack Mountains, and can usually be found spending time with family and friends.
