Child & Adolescent Therapy Services

Who do we treat?

For therapy services, we specialize in working with children, adolescents, and their families who present with a wide range of abilities and challenges, including those who are struggling with:

  • Anxiety and related disorders
  • Depression / Mood Disorders
  • Adjustment and Coping with Life Changes or Stressors
  • Specific challenges related to ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and other developmental disorders

What does treatment include?

Intake Session: An initial 60-minute intake appointment is scheduled to gather all relevant background information and begin to develop an individualized treatment plan. This session may be attended by both the child and parents or by parents only.

Therapy Sessions:  Weekly therapy appointments are 45-minutes long and tailored to you and your child's specific needs.

We work collaboratively with children and families to develop the most appropriate treatment for their unique concerns.  Sessions typically include a combination of individual, parent, and family sessions.  We also often collaborate with the child's school or other services providers when appropriate.

Our clinical approach also focuses on client strengths, resiliency, and empowerment, helping them to become their own critically aware advocates.

Payment

Our practice does not accept insurance and is considered an out-of-network provider with insurance companies.  Many health insurance companies may pay for some portion of neuropsychological evaluations and/or psychotherapy services.  Payment is expected at the time of service and clients will be a provided superbill which they may submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement, based upon their out-of-network benefits.  Please inquire regarding specific fees.
